Analytical Platform NMMC July 2010
CCMX is now inviting applications for projects within its July 2010 Call for Proposals in the framework of its Analytical Platform (NMMC).
Proposals of high scientific quality and of relevance to industrial application are sought. The selection process will be based on peer review by external, international scientific experts and on the degree of relevance to the co-funding industrial partners.; please consult the document “Criteria Catalogue for Reviewing Process by International Expert Panel”. Projects in this call will be funded from January 2011 onwards.
Projects within the analytical platform are funded on a project-by-project basis, without the research ticket principle. However, the applicants must provide matching funds from their home institution and industrial partners (minimum 50% of the total budget amount, cash and/or in-kind).
Timelines
The call takes place in two stages.
Outline proposals
A first outline proposal (2-3 pages) allows CCMX to check whether the proposal complies with the rules for submission, to give feedback to the submitters to eventually adjust the full proposal and to organise the review process. The deadline for submission of outline proposals is 12h00 (noon) on Wednesday 15th September 2010. Outline proposals and letters of expression of interest from industry partners (if applicable) should be sent by e-mail in pdf format to Kathleen Collins. Outline proposals received after this date will not be considered for funding.
Full proposals
The deadline for submission of full proposals is 12h00 (noon) on Monday 1st November 2010. Proposals should be sent by e-mail in pdf format to Kathleen Collins. Full proposals received after this date will not be considered for funding.
