Collaboration with industry

Projects are funded within thematic research areas for which research tickets are purchased by industry.

Collaboration between the industry and the researchers takes place at many levels such as the setting up of a thematic area, establishing how research can help the needs of the industry, individual project meetings, etc.

This close collaboration with industry allows for research institutions to establish mid- to long term partnerships with companies and for PhD students to find their future employer.
